Radiology
When ill animals come into Precious Bond Animal Hospital, x-rays will be commonly recommended. X-rays are a non-invasive way for veterinarians to determine obvious structural changes that can be present within the thoracic cavity, abdominal cavity, bones and joints.
Typically, animals do not require sedation to perform x-rays. However, some animals that are very painful or anxious might benefit from mild sedation in order to take clear images for determining the causes of their current medical condition.
Please contact PBAH to schedule a consultation to discuss the benefits of x-rays to help with the diagnosis of certain medical conditions.
