Oncology

Routine examinations can be imperative for the early detection of certain types of cancer. Annual examinations and bi-annual examinations for older animals can decrease their risk of certain diseases, including cancer and/or slow down the progression. Based on the type of tumor or cancer diagnosed, our furry patients might be referred to a veterinary oncologist at a specialty hospital for further treatments (radiation, chemotherapy and certain surgeries).

If your pet has a change in appetite, urination or defecation habits, behavior or you have observed nodules/bumps on your dog or cat, it is recommended to schedule a consultation at Precious Bond Animal Hospital or emergency hospital if needed.
